These terms cover your use of 614Volunteer, a site that lists volunteer shifts posted by local organizations in Central Ohio. By browsing the site, posting a shift, or signing up for one, you agree to them.

What 614Volunteer is — and isn't

614Volunteer is a listing board. We give organizations a place to post shifts and volunteers a way to find and sign up for them. We do not organize, supervise, staff, or take responsibility for any shift listed on the site — that's between you and the organization posting it.

If you're posting shifts (a business or organization account)

• You're responsible for the accuracy of what you post — dates, times, location, and how many spots are actually open.
• You agree to only post lawful volunteer activities, and to honor the commitments you list.
• You're responsible for how you use the contact information volunteers share with you when they sign up — including keeping it secure and using it only to coordinate the shift they signed up for.
• We may verify, unverify, or remove an organization's account or listings — for example if information turns out to be inaccurate or a listing violates these terms.

If you're signing up for a shift (a volunteer)

• You're responsible for the accuracy of the name, email, and phone number you provide, since that's how the organization will reach you.
• Signing up on the site does not guarantee a spot — the posting organization approves signups, and details can change after you sign up. Confirm directly with the organization if you're unsure.

No warranty

Shift listings are provided by the organizations that post them, "as is." We don't guarantee that a listing is accurate, current, or safe, and we aren't liable for anything that happens at a shift you find through the site. Use your own judgment, and verify details directly with the organization before showing up.

Account termination

We may suspend or remove an account that misuses the site — for example by posting false listings, spam, or unlawful content.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change in a meaningful way, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
